TRENTON, NJ (May 1, 2019) – Millhill Child & Family Development will hold its 14th MISSION POSSIBLE, a celebration to benefit children, youth and families in Greater Trenton on June 1 at 6:00 pm. The event will be held at Rider University, Bart Luedeke Center at 2083 Lawrenceville Road in Lawrenceville, NJ. This year’s event celebrates 48 years of Millhill’s service to Trenton and will honor Jill Nusbaum of BMS, the George H. and Estelle M. Sands Foundation and TD Bank for their commitment to Trenton and Millhill.
“Millhill is excited to celebrate 48 years of improving the lives of Trenton children, youth and families. The support of our partners is critical to our success and we are pleased to honor three outstanding supporters of our mission,” explains Cynthia H, Oberkofler, Milllhill Executive Director.
The event is sponsored by TD Bank, Peter Maa, PNC Bank, HM Royal, Wells Fargo, Stark & Stark, Grant Thornton, Hutchinson, Borden Perlman and Investors Bank. Proceeds from the event will directly support Millhill’s educational, counseling, family support services, youth engagement and community collaborations.
Jill Nusbaum, Senior Corporate Council at Bristol-Myers Squibb is a member of Millhill’s Foundation board. During her seven years of service to Millhill, Jill has provided leadership to help advance our mission and has demonstrated commitment to the children, youth and families we serve. Bristol-Myers Squibb is a generous supporter of Millhill’s Health Literacy program which aims to provide education and promote healthy living throughout Millhill’s programs.
The George H. and Estelle M. Sands Foundation was founded in 1996 by George and Estelle Sands. In 2009, Jeff Sands, along with his wife Betsy, and Deborah Sands Gartenberg, children of George and Estelle, took on management of the foundation. Today, the Foundation works with approximately 25 organizations in Trenton and is committed to giving children opportunities to succeed, stay in school and obtain better health. The Foundation has made a tremendous impact on Millhill by supporting the Trenton PEERS and Behavioral Health Services for the past three years.

The evening will offer casino games, dinner, live and silent auctions, cruise raffle in addition to featuring the Trenton PEERS, a teen leadership and mentoring peer-to-peer program. Attendees will hear from guest speaker Latonya, a family support services client, who will speak about how Millhill has transformed her life and her adopted son Isaiah.
